Oudomsay aims 8 medals from Champassak Games

(KPL) Oudomsay aims to win at least eight medals from the upcoming 8th National Games in Champassak province at the end of this year.
The province aims to win two gold, three silver and three bronze medals from the Champassak Games. The province won no medal from the last National Games hosted by the most populous Savannakhet province two years ago.
Deputy Head of Oudomsay Sports-Gymnastic Office, Mr Khamphay Insomphone, said this week the province aimed to win medals from table-tennis, archery, track & field, top-spinning, snooker, badminton and petanque”.
“The province has earmarked 157 million kip for the competition of its 65 athletes and relevant officials,” said Mr. Khamphay. “We aim to get two gold medals from archery and table-tennis, three silver medals from top-spinning and three bronze medals from petanque, snooker and badminton.”
