Nationwide meeting on organisation affairs held

(KPL) The Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee’s Organisation Board organised in Vientiane on 13-15 August a nationwide meeting to review its work on organisation and human resource development for 2008.
Chaired by Mr. Bounnhang Vorachit, LPRP CC Politburo member and Vice President of the Lao PDR, the meeting was attended by representatives of all ministries, ministry-equivalent organisations and all provinces.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Bounthong Chitmany, Chairman of the Party Central Committee Organisation Board, disclosed that the three-day event would review the progress in the resolution implementation of the 8th Party Congress on organisation affairs and human resource development.
He added that the party and state have actively worked to build human resources to serve many sectors. During the past few years, the LPRP CC’s Organisation Board has gained a number of achievements and some constraints still remain. otherwise some hard work are urged to be implemented in the coming years, said Mr. Bounthong.
