Laos and Republic of Korea further co-operation on tourism
(KPL) Laos and the Republic of Korea will work together to create the tourism website to promote the tourist sites in the Sub-Mekong River region.
The website to be built at the end of this year will comprised with five components and take five years for development. The Lao PDR will be the center of tourist sites.A ceremony to sign the agreement for building the website was held on 12 August between the National Tourism Authority and International Tourism Information Exchange Agency of the Republic of Korea.
Among the guests at the function were Mr. Somphong Mongkouvilay, Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Soukaseun Phodisan, Vice Chairman of National Tourism Authority.
