More than 4,000 state employees to receives salary through Bank System

(KPL) More than 4,950 state employees from 17 state organisations will receive their salary through the bank system, which will be effective from 30 September this year.
The MoU to implement this project was held in Vientiane on 14 August between Mr. Sonesay Sitpasay, Director General of Banque pour le Commerce Exterieur Lao and representatives from 17 state organisations.
The state organisations involved in the project included ministries of information and culture, education, Lao Front for National Construction, Lao Trade Union, Youth Union, Lao Women Union, Lao Red Cross Society, National Institute for Study of Politic and Administration, National University, National Social-Science Institute, People Supreme Court, National Land Management, Science and Technology Agency, National Sports Committee, Public Administration and Civil Service Authority, Prosecutor General Office and State Audit Authority.
