Indonesian embassy hosts reception on National Day
(KPL) Indonesian Ambassador H.E Sutjipto Hardjo Donokosumo hosted a reception to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s National Day at the Lao Plaza Hotel on 22 August.
Attending the reception were Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, ministers, deputy-ministers, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the international organisations in Laos, and Indonesian businessmen.
Laos and Indonesia established diplomatic relations in 1957, which have seen a gradual development. At present, the bilateral relations and co-operation are increasing, with exchanges of high-ranking delegations and growing Indonesian investment in Laos.
